What is ‘Build with Abhi’?
Build with Abhi is an awareness-led initiative by Habitat for Humanity India, in collaboration with actor and host Abhijeet Khandkekar.
Through this initiative, Abhijeet will join a community build alongside a partner family—bringing attention to the importance of safe housing and encouraging more people to engage with the cause.
At its heart, this is a simple idea: When people come together, small actions can help build stronger communities.
Why This Matters
A safe home is more than just shelter.
It is the foundation for health, safety, dignity and opportunity.
While Maharashtra continues to make progress in housing and development, many families are still working towards having a secure place to call their own.
By building awareness and encouraging participation, this initiative aims to bring more attention to the role housing plays in shaping lives.

As part of Build with Abhi, Abhijeet will participate in a volunteer build in Maharashtra alongside a partner family.
A limited number of participants will have the opportunity to join this experience and contribute their time and effort on-ground.
