Every year, thousands of runners participate in marathons across the country – some of them run as individuals, students from schools across the country, and some of them as corporate teams. Many run on behalf of NGOs across the country, standing for different causes.

In the year July 2018 to June 2019, Habitat for Humanity India participated in four marathons in the country across four major cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Bengaluru.

We raised support for housing, sanitation and disaster risk reduction and response initiatives across the country through the participation of over 650 runners.

Habitat for Humanity India is participating in these marathons for the year 2019-20 as well, alongside individuals, corporate teams and school students who believe with us that everyone deserves a decent place to live.
