Sanitation

We build accessible sanitation facilities in schools and communities.

This helps girls stay in school, protects women who otherwise have to travel long distances to secluded areas to meet their needs, and improves community well-being by reducing diseases.

We provide assistance beyond constructing facilities

Provide Financial Support

We provide direct funding for building sanitation units, and raise CSR funds for self-construction projects.

Drive Behaviour Change

We work with communities to understand reservations and educate them to make use of sanitation units instead of defecating in the open.

Monitor Usage

We are exploring methods such as access cards to track usage and gain further insights on improving solutions.

Sensitise-2-Sanitise Coalition

We formed the Sensitise to Sanitise (S2S) coalition in 2015 to address the sanitation problem in a more holistic manner. We bring institutions with complementing skills and capabilities together from around the country to address the ecosystem of sanitation and work together on making India open-defecation free. Our efforts have helped over 32 million people so far.
