Veteran humanitarian leader Anand Kumar Bolimera takes the helm as the National Director of Habitat for Humanity India
Mumbai, 18 April 2024: Habitat for Humanity India is delighted to announce the appointment of Anand Kumar Bolimera as its new National Director. With over two and a half decades of extensive experience in strategic planning, programme development, review and evaluation, and delivery of inclusive humanitarian response initiatives, Anand brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for social impact to his new role. He takes over from James Samuel who served as the interim National Director of Habitat for Humanity India.

Anand is a seasoned professional with deep rooted knowledge about the development sector in India. He has led numerous humanitarian response programmes, including relief, rehabilitation, and resettlement efforts, demonstrating his ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver impactful solutions. His experience in multi-stakeholder engagement and inclusive policy promotion underscores his dedication to build partnerships that drive sustainable change and transform marginalised communities.
